Kalamazoo,
January 3, 2005 — The American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee
(ADC) of Greater Kalamazoo will host a forum on Friday,
January 28, 2005 at 7:00 PM at the Western Michigan University
Bernhard Center, Room 204. The forum will include a
presentation by Dr. Alexander Dawoody entitled "IRAQ:
Political History From Hammurabi to Paul Bremer "
followed by a question and answer session. The forum is open
to the public and is FREE.
Dr.
Alexander Dawoody will present a preview of the past-to-present
political history of IRAQ and will discuss the future prospect of
IRAQ in the aftermath of the US occupation and scheduled IRAQI
elections scheduled for January 30, 2005.
Dr. Dawoody
was born in Iraq. He has been residing in US
since 1977 and became a US citizen in 1982. He
has a PhD in Public Administration from Western Michigan University.
He also holds four Master degrees. Alexander has written four books
on the history of Iraq, children stories in addition to
philosophical and political essays. He is also an
artist poet, and playwright and philosopher.
