The
American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee of Greater Kalamazoo Hosts
Its Second Annual Banquet
Kalamazoo, April 11, 2005 — The
American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee (ADC) of Greater Kalamazoo
will host its second Annual Banquet on Friday, April 22, 2005 at
6:00 PM at the Radisson Plaza Hotel in Kalamazoo. This year's
theme is "Celebrating Togetherness". The
ADC of Greater Kalamazoo will celebrate
the achievements and address the challenges that face the Muslim and
Arab communities of West Michigan.
The keynote speaker is the,
Honorable
Dr. Clovis Maksoud,
Professor of International Services The American University,
Washington, D.C. Former
Arab League Ambassador to the United Nations.
The
Honorable
US Senator
Debbie Stabenow of Michigan, will
also address the guests.
The Mistress of Ceremony
for the evening will be Kalamazoo's WWMT News co-anchor Alicia
Smith.
Singer, musician,
arranger and a songwriter Rifat Mandawi will provide the
evening’s Middle Eastern entertainment.
